The Hearing Examiner hears and decides matters assigned to him or her by the Board of County Commissioners, including permits which require a public hearing, variances from development standards, appeals of administrative decisions and hearings on enforcement actions.

Land Use cases are heard by the Hearing Examiner on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 1 p.m. in the Mason County Commissioners’ Chambers, Building 1, 411 N. 5th Street.

Code Enforcement cases are heard by the Hearing Examiner on the second Monday of each month at 11 a.m. in the Mason County Commissioners’ Chambers, Building 1,
411 N. 5th Street.
